IL Education Requirements
Classroom/Correspondence
20* – Life only
20* hours – A&H only

Certificate Information
Student is required to complete 20 hours of study for each line of insurance. 7.5 hours of the 20 hours must be in a classroom/webinar setting. The remaining hours are obtained by completing the Correspondence program. Upon completion of studies, student is required to take a final on-line Certification Exam. Students must complete the classroom portion to gain access to the Certification exam. Passing this exam with a 70%+ verifies course completion and allows student to print course certificate directly from their computer. Upon completion of the classroom/webinar and certification exam STC submits course completion roster to IL DOI.
