STC offers our comprehensive Final Exams to enhance your self-study learning experience.
The final examinations and corresponding explanations represent the most important part of your exam preparation. These examinations will assist you in applying the concepts that you learned in the study manual to questions which are posed in the same multiple-choice format used in the actual examination.
Each exam may be taken either with or without the explanations displayed after each question. However, we strongly recommend that you begin by taking each exam with the explanations appearing after your answer is selected. By including the corresponding explanations, you have the ability to reinforce the mindset necessary to getting the right answer. The goal is to fully understand the concepts, rather than to simply memorize answers. Regardless of whether your answer is correct, read the entire explanation. Additionally, you can select “Mark for Review” for any question that you want to see again.
On your homepage, the “My Scores” button will provide you with a snapshot of your progress. This section provides you with your score per attempt as well as the amount of time spent testing. After completing multiple exams, this function will allow you to identify the topics representing strengths and those representing weaknesses. The topic breakdown is based on the chapters in the study manual.
Another important feature is the ability to create “Custom Exams.” The exams may be customized by selecting specific chapters as well the number of questions. This option provides you with the ability to focus on topics that you find the most challenging.
STC’s Flashcards are an innovative way to review all of the teaching objectives in an efficient manner. This online study tool provides you with the ability to test your comprehension of the exam content whenever and wherever you have internet access.
More than 300 Flashcards can be organized by course, chapter or FINRA exam sections; this study tool will allow you to test yourself, whenever, wherever you have internet access. The program is delivered via the internet. The Flashcards are available for 6 months from the first time of usage. (Extra time is available for an additional fee) Although no purchase of STC study material is required, we strongly recommend that a study program be used along with the Flashcard series.
All of the Flashcards are created by our securities markets experts and present the information in plain English. By design, the Flashcards are kept concise so that you can comfortably review a large amount of material.

Used in conjunction with the study manual, these diagnostic progress examinations measure your performance as you move through the program. This program utilizes four performance measurements which are delivered online through my.stcusa.com. Each progress exam consists of 20 questions with explanations
As an addition to the Progress Exam product, two Greenlight Exams are included. The Greenlights are essentially end-of-course exams that are designed to help you determine your readiness for the actual Exam and may only be taken once.
